我落后了，其实UTCOM已经上线三天了。

在元旦我没有回顾过去，也没有展望未来，整整三天窝在寝室把火热的《蜗居》给看完了，挺灰蒙蒙的。

因为有需要，所以想建立两个ubuntu server，这两个Gust和Host主机要在同一个网段。
如实际ip地址为：10.101.12.57，想要这两个Gust也有相应的ip10.101.xxx.xxx，这个就组建了一个小型局域网，需要在网络连接进行桥接。
本来在vbox上已经装有一个ubuntu server，然后我就克隆出了另外一个：
Vbox clongvdi ubuntu.vdi ubuntunew.vdi
启动新的ubuntunew后发现网络不同，eth0没有启用，然后就进行了手动启动：
#ifup eth0
报错，类似eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
查看了一下设备：
lshw -C network
发现logical name变成了eth1，找到问题所在，然后：
vim /etc/network/interfaces
把eth0改为eth1，然后：
#ifup eth1
成功。

在Linuxsir论坛上看到的，原帖地址在这里！

作者的Home Page，我使用后和之前做了简单的对比，发现快了足足6s！

使用方法：

  1. yaourt -S finit-arc
  2. 在/boot/grub/menu.lst的内核参数增加init=/sbin/finit-arc
  3. 不能使用UUIDs，所以在menu.lst和fstab中用具体分区号代替
  4. 安装完后先用传统的方式重启一边（是不是先不加内核参数重启？）

不知道自己说得对不对。

07年的主题，一直都是preview，2年过去了，我想作者也不会放出来了吧，不过这是我见过最棒的GTK主题了，linux下何时才能用上这样的界面呢？

不知道为什么，这次很想尝试一下ubuntu的新版本，所以下午开始搞了起来，记得自己以前抱怨过，装不上驱动，装不上驱动，我想这其实是自身的问题，那时对linux不了解（也并不是说现在有多了解了），但是用过arch后的确是有所进步。

装完后，默认就是1680＊1050了，很好很强大，我在想这一定是装了开源驱动了，然后通过新德里搜索nvidia得出，是装上了，可是又开启不了3D，这是不能接受的，所以按照论坛的方法想自己编译安装。结果成功了，难道我以前没卸载就驱动，可怜可悲啊！

需要：

U盘一个，至少1G吧，能不能做启动盘的都无所谓。

硬盘上有Grub,适合已经装有linux的用户。

把ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso放进U盘，再把ISO里面的.disk以及initrd.gz，vmlinuz也放进去。

我本身就装有Arch，所以将下面这段代码放进menu.lst里面，代码来自ubuntu中文论坛：

title Ubuntu  LiveCD
root (hd2,0)
kernel /vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso ro quiet splash locale=zh_CN.UTF-8
initrd /initrd.gz
boot

因为我有两个硬盘，所以这里是root (hd2,0)。

重启，选Ubuntu LiveCD就可以了。

刻盘很麻烦，而且这个方法比UNetbootin还简单呀，用UNetbootin还要选能做启动盘的U盘，本来还想买个能做启动盘的U盘，这下心死了。
